ARGENTINA (CelebrityAccess) – Argentinian trap and freestyle artist Duki has signed an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music.
Known for songs such as “Sin Culpa,” “Si Te Sentis Sola,” “QUAVO,” and most recently “Hitboy” in collaboration with Argentinian artist Khea, Duki first rose to prominence in 2016 after he won the popular freestyle competition El Quinto Escalon with “No Vendo Trap.” The track also became the first original song by a participant to reach over a million views on YouTube.
Since then, Duki has collaborated with artists including J Balvin, Vicentico and Fuego, was nominated at the MTV Europe Music Awards for best Latin South American act and became the first national trap artist to sell out a show at Buenos Aires’ prestigious Luna Park festival.
Commenting on the deal, Gustavo Menendez, President, Warner Chappell Music, Latin America, said in a press statement: “Duki is a true pioneer in the rapidly-growing trap movement that is taking the world by storm.
