AUCKLAND, NZ (CelebrityAccess) — Odd Future rapper Tyler, The Creator can once again perform in New Zealand after the country reportedly lifted a ban by immigration authorities.

The lifting of the ban clears the way for Tyler to perform at New Zealand’s Bay Dreams music festival, which is scheduled to take place at two different locations in January 2020.

According to New Zealand news site Stuff, officials with Immigration New Zealand lifted the ban after determining that Tyler “is no longer deemed to be a potential threat to public order and the public interest.”

Tyler and his fellow Odd Future members were initially banned from entering the country in 2014 when they were scheduled to support rapper Eminem during a concert in Auckland. The group was reportedly banned behind a 2011 incident in Boston where the group was alleged to have incited the crowd at a performance to attack police officers.

As well, some of the group’s lyrics have drawn scrutiny by customs officials in the UK and Australia.
