SYDNEY (CelebrityAccess) – Universal Music Publishing Australia has inked a global deal with David Musumeci and Anthony Egizii of hitmaking Australian songwriting and production team DNA Songs.
Among the Sydney-based duo’s credits are recordings by Ricky Martin, Guy Sebastian, The Veronicas, Delta Goodrem, Jessica Mauboy, Dami Im, and Mauboy, among others.
“David and Anthony have set the benchmark for songwriters and producers in this country, having been behind so many of Australia’s biggest hits, so it’s an immense honour to welcome DNA to our UMPG family,” said Arwen Hunt, VP, creative/A&R at UMPG Australia & New Zealand in a statement. “We look forward to working with the guys, and their exceptional manager Di Torossian, in extending their credentials to the global success and recognition we all know they deserve.”
Together, Musumeci and Egizii have clocked a whopping seven No. 1s on the ARIA singles chart, 20 top 10s, and sold upwards of 8.5 million records.
