MIAMI (CelebrityAccess) — Pop icon Madonna is reportedly facing a class-action lawsuit from her fans after pushing back the start time of a concert in Miami by several hours.
The concert, which was originally scheduled for the Fillmore Miami Beach on Dec. 17, was originally set to start at 8:30 but has since been pushed back to a 10:30 start time, according to a lawsuit obtained by NBC News and Buzzfeed.
According to NBC, Nate Hollander, who filed the suit in a Miami-Dade Court, claims that after realizing he was unable to attend the updated show times, he attempted to obtain a refund for the $1,024.95 he claims he spent on tickets from Live Nation but was unsuccessful.
Hollander also claims that the new times for the show made the prospect of reselling the tickets to recoup his losses but claimed the tickets have “suffered an extreme loss of value” because of the time change, per the suit.
While Live Nation has yet to offer an official statement on the lawsuit, Madonna, who is currently on the road with her “Madame X” tour, appeared to respond with a brief video posted on social media in which she notes that a “queen is never late.”
