In a statement on his official website, Young expressed his disappointment, stating that the festival’s partnership with the BBC has led to a “corporate turn-off” that no longer aligns with his values.
“We will not be playing Glastonbury on this tour because it is a corporate turn-off and not for me like it used to be.” He continues writing, “Hope to see you at one of the other venues on the tour.”
