GLENDALE AZ (CelebrityAccess) — The City of Glendale has selected AEG Facilities to manage the Gila River Arena, home to the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes.
As part of the multi-year deal, AEG Facilities will provide support services, including event programming, purchasing, vendor venue services, advertising, marketing and event-day operations for the arena which is anchored by the Westgate Entertainment District and also adjacent to the University of Phoenix Stadium.
The 18,300-seat multi-purpose arena, formerly the Glendale/Jobing arena, first opened in 2003. The arena offers 3,075 club seats and 87 luxury suites (including two Luxury Tower Suites). It also features a completely integrated video, scoring and advertising system from Daktronics.
