MIAMI (CelebrityAccess) — Warner Music Group has promoted Alfonso Perez-Soto to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Global Business Development and Chief Commercial Officer, Emerging Markets.
Perez-Soto will continue to be based out of WMG's Miami offices where he will report to Ole Obermann, WMG's head of digital.
In this new gig, Perez-Soto will focus on business development and maintaining partner relationships, with an eye to new opportunities in emerging markets.
His previous role at Warner was Senior Vice President, Business Development, Latin America, Spain and Emerging Markets, where he helped the label giant to grow, particularly in Latin and South America.
Earlier in his career, Perez-Soto did stints at Telefonica, as VP, Content Corporate Unit; Universal Music Group in Latin America as Senior Business Developer; and Nokia, where he held numerous senior positions.
