NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A local man was charged with Arson after police alleged he attempted to light the historic Ryman Auditorium on fire.
According to local CBS affiliate WTVF, an affidavit said that surveillance allegedly showed 52-year-old Jeffrey Parsley piling newspapers against the back door of the Ryman and setting them ablaze on August 18th.
While the flames rose several feet, firefighers were able to knock the fire down before it engulfed the building.
Parsley was in custody with his bond set at $20,000, WTVF said. – Staff Writers
