BRANSON, MO — The Branson Entertainment Hall of Fame, which will honor those who have had a significant impact on the Branson entertainment industry, has extended the deadline for inaugural inductees through May 4. The non-profit attraction is to be located in the Branson Mall at 2206 West Highway 76.
The Branson Entertainment Hall of Fame board of directors requests that a biography and/or statement detailing the nominee’s influence accompany the nomination form. A well-documented nomination is preferred; multiple nominations will not increase the chances of induction. Induction categories include:
Performer – artists who have had significant influence on Branson through their music or entertaining talents;
Performing Groups – a group of artists who have had significant influence on Branson through their music or entertaining talents;
Leadership – individuals who have had an impact on Branson through their leadership and contributions to the entertainment community;
Horizon – individuals who through new or recent contributions have created significant impact on the Branson entertainment industry; and
Posthumous – remembering individuals who contributed to Branson’s entertainment success during their lifetime.
