BUFFALO, NY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A drunk driver crashed into the entrance of Buffalo’s HSBC arena on December 14th, smashing through garbage cans and wrecking the doors of the facility.
A local resident witnessed the crash and dragged the driver from the wreckage, fearing that flame and sparks would lead to an explosion.
The driver was taken to a local hospital and treated, and was later charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving.
An HSBC spokesperson said that the arena only suffered superficial damage to the brick façade and glass doors, but that it should not affect patron traffic in and out of the building. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
