Lackawanna County and Clear Channel Entertainment, the new promoter hired to
promote concerts at Montage Mountain (CelebrityAccess, March 5), are being
added as defendants to
Metropolitan Entertainment Group's initial lawsuit against the Lackawanna
County Performing Arts Authority, to be reinstated as the amphitheater's
promoter.
Judge Vito Geroulo gave MEG permission to amend its lawsuit.
Judge Vito has rescheduled MEG's March 21 hearing for a preliminary injunction
for
April 8. MEG is asking the court to rule that the contract between MEG and
the
authority is still valid.
