LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Casting exec Craig Fincannon and veteran talent agent Jack Gilardi have been named as the recipients of the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Awards for Agent Representation at this year's Heller Awards.
The awards will be presented during a gala at the iconic Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on November 10th with actor Shirley MacLaine presenting the award for Excellence as a Talent Agent and Michael Rooker presenting the award for Excellence as a Casting Director.
Financannon, founder of Fincannon & Associates, has been in the casting business for decades, working as as Location Casting Director on over 125 feature, more than 150 made for television movies and numerous television shows, commercials and pilots.
Gilardi got his start as an agent in 1954 at General Artists Corporation, which would later become Creative Management Associates, which would then merge with International Famous Agency in 1975 to form ICM Partners. His client roster includes Shirley MacLaine, Ann-Margret, Joe Mantegna, Jaclyn Smith, Frankie Avalon and Kristian Alfonso.
Founded in 1954 as the Conference of Personal Managers, the TMA is a non-profit that promotes standards and ethical practices in the talent industry. Since 2001, the organization has staged the Heller Awards, which were named in honor of personal management pioneer Seymour Heller, who founded the organization.
