LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Fox’s popular dance competition, “So You Think You Can Dance,” translated its small-screen success to the live stage over the weekend.
The 10 finalists from the program are going on tour, and all 37 shows that went on sale on Saturday sold out in just a few hours.
“A number of cities were sold out in 11 minutes,” Allen Shapiro, one of the show’s executive producers, told the Los Angeles Times. “We clearly had confidence in the tour, but the intense emotional core that the show struck went beyond our expectations.”
