LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — After a successful run last fall year, the Grateful Dead revival group Dead & Company announced plans for a tour of North America early next year.
The returning Dead & Company band, which includes Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir; singer/guitarist John Mayer; Allman Brothers’ bassist Oteil Burbridge; and “Fare Thee Well” and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, will perform two sets of music drawing on the Dead's catalogue.
In October of 2015 the band took to the stage for their inaugural nationwide tour, opening with three sold-out concerts at New York’s Madison Square Garden and ending the year with two sold-out performances at the Forum in Inglewood, California.
The group continued their tour in 2016 with multiple night stands at some of the nation’s largest venues, including six stadium dates.
