Dillinger Escape Plan Cancels European Tour Following Serious Bus Accident


KRAKOW, Poland (CelebrityAccess) — The rock band the Dillinger Escape Plan canceled a series of tour dates after their tour bus was involved in a serious accident.

According to the Associated Press, 13 people were hospitalized after a truck carrying their road gear hit their tour bus while it was parked on the side of the road in Poland.

Several members of the band and crew are recovering in the hospital, but no one was in critical condition, according to a statement by the band.

Following the wreck, the group canceled all of the remaining dates on their current European tour.

"All the gear is destroyed and there are injuries—we are unable to continue this tour right now. The band and crew would like to thank the fans and press around the world for their concern and the Polish police and medical staff for their handling of the situation. We hope to get back to Europe soon," guitarist Benjamin Weinman wrote in a statement posted to social media.

Affected dates are listed below. The band's next scheduled show is April 30th in Jacksonville, FL.
