SEATTLE (CelebrityAccess) — Father John Misty, The New Pornographers, Dinosaur Junior's J Mascis and Naked Giants are all on the bill to appear at the Fifth Annual SMooCH Benefit to raise fund for uncompensated care at Seattle Children's Hospital.
The benefit concert, which will take place at The Showbox on December 3rd, and will also feature a curated list of chefs from the region to provide victuals, including James Beard Award winner, Maria Hines of Maria Hines Restaurants.
The event is sponsored by Seattle indie music veterans Sub Pop Records and KEXP and 100% of all SMooCH proceeds go directly to help patients and their families.
The benefit, which started in 2012 by Pete and Brandy Nordstrom after their infant son received life-saving treatment from the award-winning hospital, has raised more than $4 million for the cause in just 4 years. – Staff Writers
