DUBLIN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — 43 festival fans on their way to the Oxegen festival on July 11th narrowly avoided disaster after being forced to escape from the bus they were traveling in after a blaze broke out aboard.
According to the Belfast Telegraph, the group of 43 festival-goers, aged 17 and upwards were forced to jump free from the bus onto Ireland's busiest highway to escape the conflagration. They had noted smoke coming through the floorboards and soon after making good their escape, the bus was fully engulfed in what witnesses described as 10 foot flames.
While the passengers escaped, their luggage, tents and concert tickets weren't so lucky. When the festival's organizers Desmond Denis' MCD learned of the festies plight however, they quickly arranged for replacement tickets to be provided. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
