ICM Acquires MVO

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — International Creative Management has acquired the Marsha Vlasic Organization (MVO), who's roster includes Elvis Costello, Neil Young, Iggy Pop, Ben Folds, The Strokes and Van Morrison among others.

Marsha Vlasic will sign with ICM as a Senior Vice President of Concerts where she will head up ICM's new contemporary rock division. Vlassic starts on September 9th and will be based in the New York Office and report to the head of the concerts division, Steve Levine.

This won't be Vlasic's first hitch with ICM and she worked there until 1988 when she left the firm ago to launch her own company, The Marsha Vlasic Organization. Since then, she's been at the forefront of creating package touring festivals such as Ozzfest and H.O.R.D.E. and organized Moby's One and Area Two tours, integrating audiences of rock, urban and electronic music in one venue.

"Marsha is a pioneering powerhouse in the music business, and joining her expertise and extraordinary roster with our existing businesses and team underlines ICM's commitment to creating tremendous value and opportunities for our clients," said ICM president Chris Silbermann "With strong leadership, ICM's concert division has experienced fantastic growth, and strategic acquisitions such as this exemplify future growth that the agency plans as we further build our company into a diversified global business."

"I am excited to rejoin ICM and provide additional opportunities for my colleagues as we continue to build and expand the Concerts department," said Vlasic. "I look forward to collaborating with ICM's other departments to provide premium representation for my clients."
