NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess) — The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has announced its lineup for 2015, with a list of headliners that includes Elton John, The Who, and Chicago.
Elton will perform on May 2nd, as part of a day devoted to the piano, with blues legend Marcia Ball, rockabilly pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis and New Orleans favorite Davell Crawford on the bill.
"It's an entire piano day, and it's going to be exciting," Jazz Fest producer Quint Davis told the Associated Press.
Apart from the piano, Jazz Fest's lineup includes both contemporary artists and iconic performers, with a lineup that includes No Doubt, Keith Urban, Ed Sheeran, as well as festival veteran Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga performing together.
The festival will also feature a reunion of the legendary group The Meters, composed of Art Neville, George Porter Jr., Leo Nocentelli and Joseph "Zigaboo" Modeliste.
Jazz Fest is known for its posters and this year is no different. The striking poster for the 2015 edition of the event portrays the late Mardi Gras Indian Big Chief Theodore Emile "Bo" Dollis, painted by Randy "Frenchy" Frechette. – Staff Writers
