Kanye West's Closing Set At Pan Am Games Cut Short

TORONTO (CelebrityAccess) — Technical issues cut short Kanye West's performance during the closing ceremonies of the Pan Am Games games in Toronto on Sunday night.

A video of the incident shows West's microphone cutting out during a medley that included 'Stronger', 'Power', 'Black Skinhead', 'Can't Tell Me Nothing', 'Touch The Sky', 'The Good Life' and 'All Of The Lights.' West can be seen to dance silently for a moment before throwing his mic into the air and walking off stage. The issue however, was only in the stadium's sound system and the live broadcast did have sound.

West was a controversial choice to close the games and more than 50,000 people signed an online petition to have West bumped from the lineup as he was not a Canadian. – Staff Writers
