Knitting Factory Entertainment Announces Slate Of New Hires, Promotion


NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Knitting Factory Entertainment announcd that they have added industry vets Toby Pazner, Barry Berkowitz and Paul Bacher as well as promoting Dave Poe to the post of Senior Talent Buyer for the East Coast

Berkowitz, the co-founder/CEO of digital audience engagement shop Digigraph.me, joins KFE's Los Angeles office as Vice President of Business Development, a role that will see him help to shape the company's business strategy and client relationships.

Toby Panzer, a veteran artist manager, and musician, will join KFE's management division Knitting Factory Management, helping to oversee the company's client roster which includes include The Coup, Jose Gonzales, The Juan MacLean, and The Knitts as well Panzer's clients Lee Fields and the Expressions.

Paul Bacher joins KFE division Knitting Factory Presents as junior talent buyer for Knitting Factory Brooklyn, responsible for local programming and event logistics. Paul comes to KFE from The Cutting Room in Manhattan, where he was in charge of event bookings and general management.

Dave Poe will continue to be based in the company's New York offices and in his new role, will have oversite of talent acquisition for all east coast venues including Highline Ballroom, Slowdown, and Knitting Factory Brooklyn, along with coordinating business development efforts nationally. Poe has been on the KFE team since August after stints at The Agency Group as well as Nederlander Concerts, where he served as talent buyer for The Greek Theatre, Vina Robles Amphitheater & San Jose Civic for Nederlander Concerts, the company said. – Staff Writers
