KoRn Performs At 37,000 Feet

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) —

KoRn took the art of live performance to the next level on November 28 when they
became the first multi-platinum rock band to perform a set while at
37,000 feet on board a transatlantic private aircraft en route to New
York from London.

The audience was made up of European MTV contest winners and eight U.S.
soldiers who have served in either Afghanistan or Iraq and are currently
on leave in Frankfurt, Germany and Venice, Italy. The
5-song electric performance–part of the band's "See You On The Other
Side" contest in connection with the December 6 release of the See You on the Other Side album–occurred while the plane was flying over
Iceland and Greenland and included the band's hits "Blind," "Freak On A
Leash" and "Got The Life." Lead singer Jonathan Davis sang through the
airplane's PA system, while band members James "Munky" Shaffer, Fiedly and David Silveria performed using battery powered amps.

KoRn recently made their first-ever performance in a U.S.
television studio on November 19 on "Saturday Night Live," performing
their single "Twisted Transistor" and their volatile hit "Freak
On A Leash." The episode, hosted by Eva Longoria, received the show's
highest rating of the season. –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
