Lil Wayne's Rochester Cancellation Trifecta

ROCHESTER, NY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Rapper Lil' Wayne pulled out of a re-scheduled January 21st gig at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York.

Wayne, AKA Dwayne Carter Jr., was originally scheduled to play at the Arena in Rochester on December 26th but dropped out of the gig, complaining about the sound system. The concert was rescheduled to December 6th but Wayne again cancelled, citing "mandatory tour rehearsal for his upcoming 'I Am Music' tour" and rescheduled for Jan. 21.

The latest attempt at a show was cancelled with Wayne's team claiming that there were insurmountable logistical differences.

"Now that Wayne's doing these bigger shows, he wants to make sure that all of his fans are getting the same experience. It would have been too difficult to travel with the entire band, then turn around and head to Calgary the next day. We didn't want the Rochester fans to get any less of a show because of logistics. We wanted to deliver the same calibre show we've delivered along the tour." Wayne's manager Cortez Bryant told Allhiphop.com.

Refunds for tickets are available at the Blue Cross Arena box office or at point of purchase.

"Fans who spent their hard-earned money for tickets deserve a prompt refund and my office will continue working to protect their interests," Attorney General Andrew Cuomo said.

As of yet, no rescheduled date for the concert has been floated. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
