Mark Dinerstein Named President At Knitting Factory Presents

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Knitting Factory Entertainment announced that veteran agent Mark Dinerstein has been named as president of Knitting Factory Presents and will be overseeing concerts and events for the company at a national level.

Based out of KFE’s Los Angeles offices, Dinerstein will lead the company's talent buying team and oversee venue operations for all of KFE's facility management agreements.

This marks the second promotion for Dinerstein at KFE in the past six months. In September of last year, he was upped to Senior Vice President at the firm.

A graduate of Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, Dinerstein began his career in Houston, Texas as a regional Talent Buyer at PACE Concerts, LTD / Clear Channel Entertainment, covering Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma, moving to KFE in 2006 as Los Angeles talent buyer and interim buyer for Knitting Factory New York.

“I am so very proud of all the Knitting Factory team has accomplished these past years. As we enter the company’s 28th year in the music industry, I am honored to lead the Knitting Factory Presents brand into 2015 as we set our sights on growth,” Dinerstein said.

In 2007 he was promoted to regional talent buyer of Knitting Factory Presents when KFE completed an acquisition of Bravo Entertainment with facilities in Boise, ID & Spokane, WA and was again promoted, to Senior Talent Buyer, in 2010 after the completion of the Knitting Factory in Reno, NV. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for the company. – Staff Writers
