POPLAR BLUFF, MO (CelebrityAccess) — Martina McBride is making an effort to give back to her fans and during a recent tour stop, McBride and her charity initiative, Team Music Is Love, fed over 300 people in need.
According to charity blog Look To The Stars, McBride donated a truckload of food and had it delivered and served to residents in the Poplar Bluff region ahead of her performance, on Oct 14, at Black River Coliseum.
Volunteers with a local food pantry and Martina’s team unloaded and distributed food to people in need. Team Music Is Love volunteers were also at the concert that night to accept food donations for the Southeast Missouri Food Bank.
McBride participated in similar efforts, including a food drive on Oct 15, to benefit the Dearborn Community Food Pantry around her show in Lawrenceburg, IN.
