NEWCASTLE (CelebrityAccess) — Guitarist Michael Schenker, best known for his stints in UFO and the Scorpions, has announced plans for a nationwide UK tour in December.
The Bridge The Gap UK tour will feature Schenker’s “Temple of Rock” band, comprising ex-Scorpions Herman Rarebell (drums) and Francis Buchholz (bass), Wayne Findlay (guitar, keyboards), and ex-Rainbow vocalist Doogie White.
The tour will get underway with a show at the Newcastle O2 Academy on Wednesday 10th December and run through the month until closing out with a December 20th show at London O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
Four days before his UK tour kicks off, Schenker will headline Planet Rockstock at Trecco Bay in South Wales on Saturday 6th December.
Schenker will be touring in support of his most recent album, "Bridge the Gap" which was released last year.
