(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — MIDEM 2005, The World’s Music Market (Cannes, France, 23–27 January) will host a Live Music Network for the first time. The networking and conference day is dedicated to the thriving live music sector and will be held on Wednesday, January 26.

The Live Music Network is organized in partnership with the Music Managers Forum (MMF) and will be preceded by a networking lunch. Two key panels will be at the centre of the day: “Live Music & Media Exploitation – Update on Opportunities in 2005,” will focus on broadcast and media rights and look at the opportunities for new revenue streams from live music. The “Changing Roles in Live Music 2005,” will explore the evolving relationships between the media, concert promoters, music publishing and recording sectors.
