LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Miles Beard and Jeff Vaughn both been promoted to the post of Vice President of A&R at Artist Partner Group/Artist Publishing Group.
Based in the company's Los Angeles offices, the two new VPs will report to Mike Caren, founder and CEO of APG.
Jeff Vaughn's A&R experience includes breakthrough hip-hop star Kevin Gates album Islah, which hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and has yielded a pair of RIAA double-platinum singles, “2 Phones” and “Really Really.” He also played a key role in signing Young Thug and responsible for signing acclaimed R&B artist Kehlani.
Vaughn, who was previously Senior Director of APG, began his career in the mailroom at talent agency UTA.
Miles Beard joined APG in 2012 and has since played a key role in signing Charlie Puth and managed the writers of Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” and Machine Gun Kelly & Camilla Cabello’s “Bad Things." – Staff Writers
