No Blur Without Coxon

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Blur and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn has insisted that he won’t record another Blur album without his former musical partner Graham Coxon back on board.

The BBC has reported that the busy Albarn has repeated his calls for a reconciliation with Coxon, but says there are no plans for a new Blur album at the moment.

“I’m waiting for Graham to talk to me again, I’d love to see if we could make another record…it’s a shame we didn’t’ stick to it. Hopefully we’ll play together soon,” said Albarn.

Albarn is currently working on promoting a new album with virtual hip hop group Gorillaz, honoring several charity commitments, and working on various projects stemming from his love of African music.

Graham has said in the past the he is not interested in returning to Blur. He is currently working on a follow up to his hugely successful debut solo album “Happiness In Magazines.” –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
