*NSYNC Show Causes $40G Worth of Field Damage

Preparation for *NSYNC's June 8 concert at Cincinnati's Cinergy Field cost tour promoter SFX thousands of dollars in damages after a crane erecting the popster's huge stage ruined about $40,000 worth of grass in the stadium. Up until the 2001 season, Astroturf was used.

Under its contact with Hamilton County, the new grass will be charged to SFX as a "reimbursable expense."
