LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Warner Brothers have pacted with celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton to launch a new label imprint, Perezcious Music.
Hilton has attempted to underscore that he's serious about entering the music business and in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, said I have an ear, which is really important in the music world — to be able to hear a hit and to be able to know who has a good song or not… I'm more than just an A&R person. I'm also a marketing person. I'm also a manager."
Hilton's hit the ground running and announced that he's signed his first artist — French quirk-pop performer Sliimy. Sliimy, who sings in English, has his debut album "Paint Your Face" set to drop on September 28 in the UK. Hilton reportedly signed Sliimy on the strength of the artists' cover of the Britney Spears hit "Womanizer."
