BERLIN, Germany (VIP-NEWS) — Direct-to-fan e-commerce platform PledgeMusic has hired Theresa Trenks as Territory Manager in Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA).
Trenks will report to PledgeMusic Co-Founder and President UK & Europe Malcolm Dunbar and will be based in Berlin.
Malcolm Dunbar said: “I warmly welcome Theresa to PledgeMusic and look forward to the continuing growth of PledgeMusic in this very important set of European markets.
“Both international and local artists will undoubtedly benefit from the enhanced focus and expertise that Theresa’s appointment will bring.”
Trenks (pictured with Dunbar) will take care of campaign management, PR and artist acquisition and will be the contact person for all topics concerning PledgeMusic in GSA.
The exec has held with a range of positions in promotion (Roadrunner Records), artist development (Eat The Beat Music) and PR (Pirate Smile GbR).
In 2013 she founded her own PR, Label Representation and Artist Mentoring agency Carrycoal.

PledgeMusic has enjoyed success in Germany with campaigns by Joachim Witt, Billie Ray Martin, IAMX, H-Blockx, Kasalla De/Vision, AnnenMay Kantereit, Donots and Letzte Instanz.
Currently, German Thrash-Metal act Destruction are working with PledgeMusic on their new record ‘Thrash Anthems II’, while rock band Terry Hoax are funding their new studio album via the platform.Music Business Worldwide
