KRAKOW, Poland (CelebrityAccess) — Festival organiser Alter Art Agency has confirmed that the Coke Live Music Festival has been cancelled for 2014 after the festival's primary sponsor, the Coca Cola company pulled out.
Launched in 2006, the festival has in the past featured artists such as Jay Z, Franz Ferdinand, The Chemical Brothers, Muse, The Killers, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Rihanna, Lily Allen, Interpol and numerous others.
In a post on the festival's website, organizers assured festival fans that they planned to return in 2015 and suggested that they had already secured a new primary sponsor for the event but they did not elaborate.
"Dear Festival Goers, 2014 is a year of change. It also applies to Live Music Festival: its last, record-breaking editions was the best so far. And some good news to start with: the festival has a new partner and will return to Krakow in the summer of 2015! Along with the new partner, we decided that a one-year break is what the festival needs to return as an even better, more varied event, with an even more interesting musical line-up. The first information on the new Live Music Festival opening will be revealed in the upcoming months," the post read. – Staff Writers
