Ratt Guitarist Robbin Crosby Dead At 42

After an eight-year battle with AIDS, Ratt guitarist and founding member Robbin Crosby died June 6. He was 42.

Last year Crosby acknowledged that he had contracted AIDS through heroin use.

On the band's Web site, Ratt's surviving members said, "Our dear friend Robbin Crosby passed away this morning. His family and close friends are asking for your respect, prayers, and appreciation."
