After a five-month search, Ann Larson has been tapped as the new facility manager at Rockford MetroCentre in Rockford, Illinois, by the nine-member MetroCentre Authority Board of Directors. She takes her post February 11, replacing Brad Walsh who resigned last September.
Larson is vice president/general manager of the 19,000-seat Reunion Arena in Dallas. She previously managed the Kohl Center at the University of Wisconsin and the Five Seasons Center and Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The MetroCentre also encompasses the Coronado Theatre and Founders Landing Davis Park outdoor venue.
