ROTTERDAM, Holland (CelebrityAccess) — A concert by West-coast psychedelic rockers Allah-Las has been cancelled by Dutch authorities over terror concerns.
The band had been due to perform at Rotown Bar in Rotterdam on Wednesday night but shortly before the show, the venue announced that on the advise of authorities, they had canceled the show.
The statement released by the Rotown said: "On the advice of police, we have been forced to cancel the concert of Allah-Las at the venue. There's no point coming. Sorry for the inconvenience."
According to the Independent, armed police entered the venue and the bar was later evacuated over potential terrorism concerns.
The BBC reported that the terror alert was prompted by a tip from Spanish authorities.
Reuters reported that Rotterdam Mayor Ahmed Aboutaleb said that security forces in Rotterdam had located a bus near the venue that contained gas cylinders and said that the driver of the bus had been detained.
