(VIP-NEWS) — Albert Salmerón, director of Animated Productions, has been elected new president of Spain's Association of Promoters Music (APM) replacing Pascual Egea.
APM has announced that Tito Ramoneda (The Project) has been elected Vice President. The board of directors will be Neo Sala (Doctor Music), Maricruz Laguna (GTS) and Julio Martí (Serious Fan Music).
Salmerón has been a member of the board for the past four years, a time in which he has gained experience to carry out a "discrete, conflict-free and no-noise" leadership
Salmerón, who was musical director of SOS 4.8 and co-organizer of FIZ, arrives at the position as the head and founder of Producciones Animadas, a promoter with more than 25 years of experience in which he has been responsible for tours in Spain by artists such as Crystal Castles or George Ezra.
Both he and the director of Primavera Sound, Alberto Guijarro, received just prior to the vote an achievement for their 25 years of work in the Live Music industry. – Staff Writers
