TORONTO (CelebrityAccess) — British singer-songwriter Sam Smith cancelled a planned performance at Kool Haus in Toronto on Sunday night, citing illness.
In a post on the performer's Twitter account, he wrote:
"Toronto, I am so unbelievably sorry, but I'm going to have to cancel tonight's show.
I woke up yesterday morning with Tonsillitis and I didn't speak all day and all night in hopes that it would clear and I'd be able to perform for you all tonight. It's worse and I can't speak.
I'm so upset and will reschedule the show as soon as possible. I'm Sorry."
However, the singer said today that he is much better and his sold out September 22nd show at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago seems to be a go at the time of publication. – Staff Writers
