BILOXI, MI (CelebrityAccess) — The fallout has begun for Afroman following his arrest for punching a female fan on stage during a Feb. 17 show in Biloxi with three of the seven upcoming shows Afroman has on the books have been canceled.
Canceled dates include: Feb. 21st at Ziggy's By The Sea Wilmington, NC, Mar. 12 at the Brauer House Lombard, IL and Mar. 13 Park Street Saloon Hilliard, OH.
Two of the three venues linked their cancellations directly with the Biloxi incident. The Brauer has has opted to replace the Afroman show with a benefit for the Joyful Heart Foundation which works to end domestic violence and sexual assault.
Ziggy's By The Sea announced the cancellation on their Facebook page, saying: "Ziggy’s By The Sea & Ziggy’s do not condone the actions of what happened in Biloxi, and we will not support violence against anyone whether male or female. Domestic violence is blight on our society, and we are shocked and disheartened by his actions." – Staff Writers
