JACKSONVILLE, FL (CelebrityAccess) — Bold Events and the Jacksonville Jaguars and Live Nation Florida have named venue management company SMG Jacksonville as co-facility management partner at the soon-to-be-opened live music amphitheater Daily's Place.
“Daily’s Place will be open and ready to welcome live music fans this Saturday,” said Jaguars and Bold Events President Mark Lamping said in a press statement. “We’re eager to introduce Northeast Florida to this new venue and kick off a full year of concerts and events featuring a diversity of musical genres. Daily’s Place is a landmark project in the ongoing revitalization of downtown Jacksonville, and we’re thrilled to open our doors and turn up the volume.”
The new amphitheater, which is slated to debut on Memorial Day weekend, will launch with a performance by the Tedeschi Trucks Band on Saturday, May 27 and Train with O.A.R. and Natasha Bedingfield on Sunday, May 28. To round out the new venue's grand opening festivities, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will perform a special acoustic concert on Tuesday, May 30th.
SMG Jacksonville will take care of maintenance, ongoing repairs, housekeeping and capital improvements to the new amphitheater, pending approval by the Jacksonville City Council.
