OAKLAND, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Soul singer Bilal and his team were robbed at gunpoint during the filming of a music video on Oakland on Monday.
Music news website Okayplayer.com reported that Bilal and his production team were wrapping up after the shoot at 3:15 PM when they were held up by four armed assailants.
The suspects were pursued by police following the alleged robbery and crashed their vehicle while while exiting eastbound Interstate Highway 580 near 98th Avenue. Police arrested two of the four individuals after they fled on foot from the crash. Some of Bilal's gear was recovered from the vehicle.
Bilal’s manager Hans Elder, who was present during the robbery, told Okayplayer that no one was injured and everybody appears to be in relatively good spirits. – Staff Writers
