LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Marion "Suge" Knight collapsed in court on Friday during a hearing where a judge set bail at $25 million for the former Death Row label exec, who has been accused of a fatal hit and run in Los Angeles.
Knight's attorney said Knight was sweating profusely and collapsed shortly after his attorney, Matt Fletcher asked the court to reconvene.
"He was dripping sweat, like someone poured a bucket of water on him," attorney Matt Fletcher told NBC affiliate NBCLA. "He wiped the sweat off his head and said, 'I haven't had my medication.'"
Fletcher said that Knight remained unconscious for 10 minutes and after being attended by paramedics, was transported to the jail ward at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center.
Knight was hospitalized following two previous court appearances as well.
During the hearing, the judge stipulated that Knight must prove that any money used for bail must come from a legitimate source.
Knight is accused of running two men down, one fatally, during a dispute at a film set in Los Angeles. – Staff Writers
