LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Dangerbird Records co-founder r Jeff Castelaz and General Manager Matt Solodky have announced that they are both departing the company to re-launch Cast Management, effective immediately.
The re-launched management operation will handle a roster that includes the Dropkick Murphys and record producers Tony Hoffer, Justin Meldal-Johnsen and Jacquire King.
Dangerbird Records and Dangerbird Publishing co-founder Peter Walker announced that Jenni Sperandeo will take over as president at Danger Bird following Castelaz's departure. Sperandeo joined the company in 2010 as head of promotions and has been instrumental in developing Fitz and the Tantrums and Silversun Pickups. She is also currently overseeing new releases by Minus the Bear and Sea Wolf.
Dangerbird Records, Dangerbird Publishing and their affiliated recording studio were founded in 2004 by Peter Walker and Jeff Castelaz. A statement from the company says that Dangerbird plans to continue to sign and develop new artists as well as their current roster. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
