LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Steve Herman, formerly the Agency Group's North American CEO, has left the firm to join Live Nation as the president of artist services.
"Steve's vast experience serving artists as concert promoter, artist agent and executive is a valuable addition to our team," Jason Garner, CEO of global music for Live Nation, said in a statement.
"Steve Herman has clearly contributed to the continuing growth of the Agency Group, and we wish him well in his new position," added Neil Warnock, CEO Agency Group Worldwide.
Its something of a homecoming for Herman as prior to joining The Agency Group in 2003, he was the founding president of Clear Channel's Canadian operations (SFX/Core Inc.) after he sold his company Core Audience Entertainment to Clear Channel in 2000.
While working with Clear Channel, Herman worked with alongside current Live Nation impresario Michael Rapino in Toronto.
Herman founded Core in 2000 and within a span of two years, it had become the second largest promoter in Canada at that time. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
