(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) –Ari Taitz has been promoted to vice president, Business & Legal Affairs for Atlantic Records, based at the company's New York headquarters. Taitz, who joined the company in 2000, was most recently senior director, Business & Legal Affairs. He is primarily responsible for negotiating and drafting agreements with artists, labels, new media/Internet companies, and film companies. In addition, he assists in the development and implementation of Internet policy, and provides business, financial, and legal advice to Atlantic executives.
