The Firm's Rodrick Promoted To Manager

BEVERLY HILLS, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Firm has promoted former music department assistant David Rodrick to manager, the company has announced.

Rodrick, who began his managerial career as an assistant in the music department at The Firm in 2004, has worked closely with the Firm’s music managers as well as company CEO Jeff Kwatinetz on many projects including Chris Cornell, Audioslave, 30 Seconds to Mars, Pink Spiders, and others.

"David has been an integral part of the managerial teams we’ve put together around many of our clients. His involvement in guiding the careers of Chris Cornell, Pink Spiders and others has been vital in helping them achieve their dreams. This promotion is well deserved and I look forward to David bringing in additional clientele and continuing to best serve the artists he currently works with," said Kwatinetz in a statement.

Rodrick began his work at The Firm in 2004 as an assistant in the music department. Shortly thereafter he was bumped up to Jr. Manager.

"I am looking forward to the new challenges that lie ahead. I am also extremely grateful to Jeff and the Firm team, who have bestowed confidence and faith in my abilities," Rodrick said.

Rodrick began his career in the music business a decade ago as an intern at Atlantic Records. Shortly after that, he went to work at BMG Distribution in San Francisco, where he worked in the mailroom for a year. He moved back to Los Angeles to work at William Morris in the agent trainee program, where he climbed from the fax room to become a music agent assistant for two years.
