(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Sean Payne, drummer of the Zutons, reportedly came down with a severe viral infection that forced the band to cancel the remainder of their tour.
The band was in the midst of touring the UK and Ireland to promote their debut album “Who Killed The Zutons” when Payne suddenly became sick. According to NME.com, Payne played through the illness for a show in Sheffield, but was unable to get out of bed the next day.
The cancelled dates included shows at London’s Shepard Bush Empire on 10/25/04, Derry Nerve Center on 10/28/04, Belfast Limelight on 10/29/04 and Dublin Temple Bar Centre on 10/30/04.
