PASADENA, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, AKA Stephen Victor Tallarico has checked into the Las Encinas Hospital drug rehabilitation clinic for treatment for an unspecified substance abuse problem, TMZ has reported.
The clinic has the somewhat dubious distinctions of playing host to both the alleged reality show "Celebrity Rehab" and also serves as the facility where syndicated radio host and addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky practices.
The band had been in the studio over the winter, working on a new studio album and has been collaborating with the makers of the video game "Guitar Hero" to develop "Guitar Hero: Aerosmith" which, unsurprisingly, will be dedicated to the band's oeuvre.
