LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Barry Manilow is out of surgery and on the mend, according to a status update posted on the singer's Facebook page.
The post stated that Manilow's doctors reported that the surgery had been successful and that they expected no further complications, however, it noted that Manilow had been instructed "not to talk, sing, or rap" for the next 48 hours.
Manilow announced on Thursday that he was cancelling two sold-out dates on his "One Last Tour" due to complications following oral surgery that he underwent on Monday. Manilow had been due to perform in Kentucky on Thursday night and Nashville on Friday, but pulled the plug on the dates in order to fly back to Los Angeles for medical attention.
Manilow's next scheduled appearance is at the Grammys on Monday night, but no word has been announced if he will be able to attend or not. – Staff Writers
