LAS CRUCES, NM (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — It wasn't just an average Tuesday night at the bowling lanes last week.
Last Tuesday night in Las Cruces, NM was the scene of the 4th Annual Vans Warped Tour/T.J. Martell Foundation Bowling Tournament where 23 artists from the 2011 Vans Warped Tour along with their fans competed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies.
This year Hellogoodbye’s team was victorious and August Burns Red gave them a run for their money coming in second while local radio station The Rocket’s took the third place trophy home in Las Cruces.
Over 400 people packed into the 10 Pin Alley and stayed to the final frame.
In addition to the tournament, fans were able to bid for a chance to bowl on the same team as their favorite band via eBay and for the first time, the tournament was open to a limited number of spectators who made additional donations to the event.
The 2011 bowling tournament raised over $10,500.00 for the T. J. Martell Foundation. The event was hosted by local radio station and media sponsor The Rocket 99.5 and their on-air staff.
